Christ is Alive

5th May 2020 Off By Claire Williams

Southwark Catholic Youth Service has produced a short mini-series ‘Christ is Alive’.
The videos were produced, before the lockdown, alongside 6th form students from St. Gregory’s RC School, Tunbridge Wells. The young people discuss some of the key themes from ‘Christus Vivit’, Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation to Young People and the Entire People of God.

The mini series consists of 6 x 2 minute videos, each with questions for reflection and supporting resources. It is hoped that young people will use the resources to reflect and pray, using journaling and through Lectio Divina.

                Introduction – Archbishop John Wilson

  1. Journeying together
  2. Take God at His Word
  3. Facing challenges
  4. As one friend speaks to another
  5. Gifts & Vocation

‘Christ is Alive’ will be available on  new SCYS YouTube channel

Introduction and episode one already available – we are releasing the others weekly for the next 4 weeks, starting on Wednesday 6th 9 am (then same day and time)
