Head of Year, St Ursula’s Convent School

Head of Year with Cover Supervisor Role.
Required for September 2025 (an earlier start may be possible) 
1 year contract 
Unqualified teacher pay scale + £5,000 additional duty allowance for head of year responsibilities 

The Governors of St Ursula’s Convent School invite applications from highly motivated, inspirational, and outstanding practitioners for the post of Head of Year. The start date is September 2025 but if requested we may be able to offer an earlier start. 

At St Ursula’s Convent School, the Head of Year is a key pastoral leadership position, responsible for overseeing the academic progress, personal development, behaviour, and wellbeing of all students in the Year group. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to the pastoral care and holistic development of young people. The role will lead a year group and be required to undertake a role as cover supervisor as necessary. PPA and time for the role will be factored in.
