The Governing Body of St Thomas’ Catholic Primary School (Voluntary Aided) are looking to employ a Class Teacher with a positive and enthusiastic approach, from September 2025. We are ideally looking for an experienced class teacher, however strong teachers at any point in their career will be considered including ECTs. Please state your level of experience within your application including year groups taught and subjects led. Whilst this is a fixed term position for one year, it could lead to a permanent appointment.
Since our Ofsted inspection in April 2023 we have continued to develop and enrich our curriculum, providing opportunities for creativity and risk taking – thinking outside the box!
This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to develop within a school family which is a friendly and culturally diverse Catholic community. Applicants need not be of the Catholic faith but must be supportive of the ethos of the school.

- Keen to take an active part in the wider contribution/life of the school
- Is a practising Catholic/Christian or supportive of the ethos of the school
