Hours range from 25 – 29 hours per week term time only for 39 weeks per annum
Pay Scale: ME4 scale point 4 (£28,125 full time salary for 52 weeks per year at 35 hours per week)
Fixed term – Initially until July 31st 2026 We are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant at St. Teresa’s Primary School, to start in September 2025 or sooner.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has demonstrable experience in supporting children within a collaborative team environment. We are looking for someone with specific skills in Early Years education and/or using tailored digital resources, such as educational apps or online learning platforms, to support learning. Suitability for this role can be demonstrated through holding a relevant NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification related to working with children, a university degree, or by demonstrating clear aspirations to become a teacher. This post is particularly well-suited for individuals wishing to gain practical classroom experience prior to commencing a PGCE, such as through the ‘Teach Wimbledon’ program, offering valuable opportunities to work alongside qualified teachers.
