Archbishop John Wilson would like to invite our schools and colleges to gather and celebrate the Beginning of Year Mass at St George’s Cathedral, Southwark taking place at 11am on Wednesday, 24th September 2025.
This special celebration marks the start of the academic year, uniting pupils, staff, and school communities in prayer and thanksgiving. Gathered as one family of faith, we seek God’s blessing for the year ahead, committing ourselves to grow in wisdom, love, and service. All are warmly invited to take part in this joyful and hope-filled liturgy.
Spaces are limited. Please bring up to 5 pupils. Please be seated by 10.45am.
It is expected that every school in the Archdiocese will be represented.
