Summer Term at St Thomas’ Catholic Primary School

At St Thomas’ Catholic Primary School in Canterbury, we sadly said goodbye to our headteacher Lisa D’Agostini who has led our school so wonderfully for the last 14 years.

To honour her remarkable tenure, we held a special assembly where the children performed songs that reflected the various stages of Miss D’Agostini’s life and career. It was a heartwarming celebration, made all the more special by the presence of her family and friends, governors and extended school community who joined us for an afternoon tea in the school hall.

Miss D’Agostini’s leadership and unwavering commitment to our school community and Catholic education will be deeply missed. We are grateful for the indelible mark she has left on our school, and we wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

Towards the end of the summer term, as part of the Jubilee year of Hope, our whole school undertook a pilgrimage to Aylesford Priory where we celebrated Mass, walked the Rosary Way and took time to reflect in the Peace Garden.
