The Governors of the Federation of St Joseph’s Catholic Junior, Infant & Nursery Schools wish to appoint Apprentice Teaching Assistants to work within our highly motivated and friendly team. We are looking for someone who is committed to growth and wants to positively contribute to our school community. We will support you to engage and motivate students to reach their full potential. You will need to be enthusiastic and committed and child-centred.
Apprentices will be enrolled on an appropriate course of study and will work towards a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (general or SEND). If you have a good basic education and are interested in developing your skills and a career working with young people, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Pay Scale: Apprentice Pay Scale – £13.85 per hour (London Living Wage)
Actual Salary: £20,501 per annum
Contract Type: Fixed Term Apprenticeship Contract until 31st August 2028. Term time only.
Hours of work: 33 hours per week, term time including INSET days. (27 hours working at school, 3 hours of study time at school, 3 hours to cover study outside of working hours)
