It is the time of year when schools need to consult on admission policies and start to process applications!
This information session for staff, Headteachers and anyone involved in the process will guide you through consulting, amending your admissions policy, thinking about when to use a certificate of practice and even better when not to as well as considering the myriad of things that can go wrong and the impact of errors or maladministration as it is known in admissions jargon.
There will be time for questions or if you want feedback please send your query in advance to clairewilliams@rcaos.org.uk as we are sure others will value the learning.
Ideally any consultations should be started by 1 December so it gives you all time to successfully make any changes.
