This session will look at the statutory responsibilities of governors concerning admissions. We will also look at the changes that have been made to the diocesan guidance, the rationale for these changes and the processes the admissions authority need to follow. We will explore how this is linked to the challenges around pupil numbers, focusing on the current position and the potential impacts for schools, moving forward.
