National Recognition for Richard Challoner School Outstanding Performance

Members of the Richard Challoner School community are delighted that the school’s excellent outcomes, once again, have been recognised by SSAT (Schools’, Students’ and Teachers’ Network) in this year’s Educational Outcomes Awards.

This prestigious award recognises that Richard Challoner school is among the highest-performing secondary schools in the country, based on 2025 performance data and information from Ofsted.

Richard Challoner School was recognised for being in the top 10% of non-selective schools for student attainment in the 2025 end of KS4 exams.

To be recognised with an Educational Outcomes Award is a significant achievement in the school’s relentless pursuit of excellence, and is a testament to the dedication, expertise and commitment of the Richard Challoner School community.

Reflecting on the achievement of these Outcomes Awards, Sean Maher, Head Teacher at Richard Challoner School, commented: “Though academic achievement is only one part of a fully rounded education, it is always fantastic to once again receive affirmation of our outstanding outcomes which are the culmination of much hard work from our students, our teachers and the wider school community”.

Sue Williamson, Chief Executive of SSAT, commented: “Congratulations to Richard Challoner School on winning an SSAT Educational Outcomes Award. This success is down to the superb learning and teaching, outstanding support and inspirational leadership of staff.”
