Rosary at St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School

16th May 2024 Off By Claire Williams

“For all those who have no peace, let us invoke Mary, the woman who brought into the world the Prince of Peace.” Pope Francis

May is traditionally dedicated to Mary, Mother of God. During this month the pupils and staff of Rosary at St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School honour Mary and seek her prayers for the world. On the 7th May the school joined Archbishop John Wilson, and schools across the diocese, to pray the rosary. St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School have set up a beautiful prayer area so families can pray the rosary together. Families are invited to bring flowers.

Be inspired to pray the rosary with your family, on your own or with a group.

St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School have been having beautiful prayer time reflections in the sunshine. Children have been bringing flowers and spending time praying the rosary.

It is so wonderful to watch children and families gather to prayer by our Month of May shrine area.

St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School are excited to be receiving rosary’s for each child to pray with, donated by the Catenian prayer group. They have kindly offered lots of suggestions for using the rosaries.
