St Thomas the Apostle School and Sixth Form College is celebrating an exceptional set of A Level and vocational results, achieving the strongest outcomes since the Sixth Form opened in 2015. The outstanding results further cement the school’s reputation as one of South East London’s leading post-16 providers.
The average grade across three A Levels was A. This year’s cohort delivered record-breaking success, with 51% of all grades awarded at A or A*, and 87% of all grades awarded at B or above.

Record-Breaking Performance
The results demonstrate remarkable consistency across a broad range of subjects, with 100% of students achieving grades A to C* in Art, Biology, Business, Computer Science, Economics, English Literature, Geography, History, PE, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology, Spanish.
Meanwhile, more than half of all students achieved A or A* grades in Biology, Business Studies, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies and Spanish.
Destinations to the UK’s Most Prestigious Destinations
The exceptional academic performance has opened doors to some of the most competitive university courses in the country, including Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Economics and Computer Science. 85% of students have secured places at the most prestigious universities in the country, including Cambridge, LSE, UCL, Imperial and Warwick.
We are also delighted to see students continuing to take up extremely competitive degree apprenticeship places. STAC’s Beyond 18 programme gives every post 18 pathway parity and the same level of support. The Beyond 18: Future Professionals strand of our programme is dedicated to supporting students to navigate the application, assessment centres and interviews. The many prestigious companies include the Ministry of Defence, TFL, Amazon and Turner & Townsend.
