On Wednesday 19th March 2025, ten Catholic schools in Wandsworth came together at St George’s Cathedral to celebrate the Jubilee Year, Pilgrims of Hope.
The schools that participated are:
- St Anselm’s Catholic Primary School, Wandsworth
- Holy Ghost Catholic Primary School, Balham
- Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Battersea
- Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Roehampton
- Our Lady of Victories Catholic Primary School
- Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Primary School
- St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Putney
- St Boniface Catholic Primary School, Tooting
- St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Battersea
- Saint John Bosco College, Battersea
The beautiful Mass was celebrated by Canon Victor Darlington, and the Year 4 children from all the schools led the liturgy.
This included a tableau of the jubilee logo and a liturgical dance, as well as beautiful singing from the whole congregation.
