Avila Partnership expands as National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) launch in Lambeth!

On Monday 13th March the Avila Partnership launched Avila Lambeth, an exciting new partnership with Bishop Thomas Grant and Corpus Christi Primary School. BTG and Corpus Christi are the lead schools facilitating a cohort of 28 aspiring Senior leaders on the NPQSL.

In February 2022, Avila in partnership with Church of England Education Office and Catholic Education Service started the delivery of NPQSL for Cohort 2.

In February 2023 we expanded the delivery to include NPQLTD (Leading Teacher Development), NPQLT (Leading Teaching) and NPQLBC (Leading Behaviour and Culture). The NPQSL is also being delivered in partnership with Avila Lambeth (Bishop Thomas Grant and Corpus Christi).

There are 92 participants on cohort 4 courses from 44 schools across London and Surrey.

In Autumn 2023 we look forward to welcoming applications for NPQ in Early Years and Leading Literacy. In November 2023 Avila is the co-facilitator on the NPQH. If you have any questions or would like further information on any of our courses please contact our NPQ Lead; Mrs Collette Farley: collette.farley@ursulinehigh.merton.sch.uk or NPQ Administrator; Ms Danuta Grabda: danuta.grabda@ursulinehigh.merton.sch.uk.

Our mission is to develop school leaders to be Called to a lifegiving vocation, Connected to a thriving learning community, and Committed to evidence-informed excellence in education.
