Bonus Pastor Catholic College Reflect on the Life of Queen Elizabeth II

Following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the community of Bonus Pastor Catholic College joined together to reflect on the life of her majesty.

This year, our school’s liturgical theme is ‘Servant Leadership’; we reflected on how the life of her majesty was guided by the example Jesus set and how she reflected that in her service to us. Staff and students joined together in prayer throughout the day through writing prayers in form time, which were shared in our chapel, and taking time for quiet reflection in the chapel throughout the day.

We were touched by the thoughtful, kind words our students expressed and shared the prayers from our community by laying them at the gates of Buckingham Palace.
