At St Matthew Academy, our students are committed to making a positive impact in our local community. As part of our ongoing charity contribution for the year 2023-4, some of our light bearers recently had the opportunity to bring joy to the older generation at Rectory Court Care home.
Armed with a bag full of games, our students embarked on a mission to brighten the day of the elderly residents. Jenga and snakes and ladders were the games of choice, and they proved to be a hit among both the students and the residents.
The elderly residents were absolutely delighted to have the company of our students. They thoroughly enjoyed participating in the games and engaging in conversations with the young minds. It was heartwarming to witness the genuine happiness and appreciation on their faces.
