On Thursday, Pupils and staff at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Rotherhithe were delighted to welcome the Diocesan Schools Commissioner for the Archdiocese of Southwark, Mrs Colette Doran-Hannon.
During her time at the school she visited every classroom and took the opportunity to speak with our children about their learning and school life. The school are incredibly proud to share that she was very impressed by the atmosphere across the school and she left them with some very positive feedback regarding the conduct and engagement of the children.
Colette Doran-Hannon was delighted when the reception children shared their homemade Bibles. They had been writing about their favourite Bible story and created their own Bibles. A Reception child had written all about The Good Samaritan and was excited to share his Bible with Mrs Doran-Hannon. He then gave it to her as a present! St Joseph’s hope she enjoys her gift!
