Traditionally, Catholics devote the whole month of May to celebrating and honouring Mary, the mother of Jesus. Mary is even sometimes known as the ‘Queen of May’. As a school we have been bringing flowers to honour Mary and each class is spending time praying and reflecting outside by our statue. Parents have been invited to pray in the morning, with their children.
