On Thursday 17th October 2024, St Matthew Academy officially welcomed our new head teacher Mr Potter with a mass of induction. It was a beautiful mass celebrated by Canon Victor Darlington and concelebrated with Fr Krzysztof, the new parish priest at St Saviour’s Parish in Lewisham. The students and staff at SMA also let their lights shine by volunteering to lead our readings at mass and by supporting the mass in song. Mr Potter was presented with the keys to the school by our Chair of Governors Mrs Barber. The students and staff at St Matthew Academy wish Mr Potter every success and pray every blessing on him as he fulfils his new leadership role.
