Every year in May, the pupils and staff from St Thomas of Canterbury RC Primary School, Mitcham have a special celebration for the Crowning of Mary, our blessed mother, queen of heaven and earth.
All the children brought flowers and plants to place near the statue of our Mother Mary. The celebration ended with a special prayer to the blessed mother and the hymn As I kneel before you.
The Mini-Vinnies will plant the potted plants in the prayer garden and around the school.
